Press Release -
Cambridge Antique Fair, August
2-3, 2008
Cambridge, MN
CAMBRIDGE, MINN.
“Great Friends and Great Finds” is the theme of the 2008
Cambridge Antique Fair. The 17th annual show will be held on August 2 and 3,
2008 at the Isanti County Fairgrounds in Cambridge, Minnesota.
“We want to bring home the fact that Cambridge is a
friendly show and a great place to spend a summer’s day,” said show promoter
Shawn Hewitt. With over 300 booths of antique and collectibles dealers – the
actual number of dealer badges distributed is over 800 – it takes a solid
day to peruse the show and find those treasures that are waiting to be
discovered. All kinds of antiques in a wide variety of price ranges are
there for the hunting. The show is perfect for a day-trip from the region’s
population centers and countryside.
“We want to encourage friends to carpool to the show and
spend a day of fun together. We like to give collectors the enjoyment of
hunting for antiques and collectibles the old-fashioned way.” In addition to
the friendly antique dealers, there are lots of great food vendors on the
grounds, so there is no need to leave, except perhaps to get more cash.
The fair is located on the north side of the Twin Cities
Metro Area, just east of Cambridge on Highway 95. For more information,
visit www.north-trek.com or call Cheryl Hewitt at 651-735-0113. Dealer space
for outdoor booths is currently available.
